We're leading the way.
We dedicate 100% of our time and money to finding a treatment for ALS. Our unique, comprehensive research approach looks
at all potential treatments. And every year, our lab tests more than three dozen drugs completely and rigorously. No one else in the field leads the fight against ALS like TDI.
We're accountable, credible, and efficient.
Don't just take our word for it. We've earned CharityNavigator.org's top rating for two years in a row, and TDI outperforms every other ALS organization in the U.S. And, we're also the recipient of the largest grant ever given by the world's largest ALS research funder, The Muscular Dystrophy Association. The MDA has given TDI nearly $23 million to date. Further, other grant making organizations, such as Prize4Life, require that funding applicants use our program as a guide.
We were the first. We're still the best.
Founded in 1999, TDI was the first non-profit biotech in the field. And while other labs claim that it takes $1.8 billion and 13 years to find a new ALS therapeutic, we're focused on breaking free from that paradigm and reducing the time and cost of drug development for patients today.
Our research might help cure Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other neurodegenerative disorders.
Because we run research studies on all facets of ALS, our findings can be applied to many other diseases. Finding a cure for one could be a breakthrough for other fields.
