The ALS 12 Hour Trail Race is back again. The race this year will be held on June 3, 2017. We have added a 5 mile trail race in addition to the 12 Hour race. I have been asked this year if there can also be a 2 person relay in addition to the 4 person relay. I don't know how many people would wish to do a 2 person relay, but it will be a choice this year.

The race will be approximately a 2.5 mile loop on the Northampton Park Trails. Northampton Park is located in Spencerport and the Race Start and Finish is across from the Ski Lodge on Hubbell Rd. The exact address for directions to get there is 55 Hubbell Rd., Spencerport, NY 14559. The trails are located on the east side of Hubbell Rd. and there is plenty of parking and restrooms.

The trail has some single track, roots, rocks, holes and a few fallen trees to jump over. There is also a creek to cross and depending on the recent weather, could be dry or very wet. Each loop will have approximately 105 ft. of elevation gain. The trail loop will enter and exit the woods onto a grassy area where the Start/Finish is located. The Start/Finish is the only place that the relay runner's can exchange to their teammates. The Solo runners will also exit the trail on every loop and will pass through the start/finish area so the Race Officials can keep track of loops completed by all the runners. All participating runners can have their own aid station, but it must be located at the Start/Finish area.

New this year will be the 5 mile trail race. This race will be two loops of the course and will start after the 12 hour race starts.

There will be an official Aid Station equipped with food and beverage. Runners are encouraged to have their own aid station and support people.

As a single or a foursome, grab your clubs for a fun day of golf with a purpose. Proper golf attire is required. $150 per person.

TennisFEST

Donation includes entry to TennisFEST, lunch, and entry to the CharityBASH (details below). Participants will learn doubles strategies of the great teams, practice winning techniques & tactics, and compete for prizes. As a single or with your doubles partner, grab your racket for an afternoon of tennis with a purpose. Proper attire is required, tennis whites are encouraged. $75 per person.

Donation includes a delicious dinner paired with a selection of fine wines, live and silent auctions, an awards ceremony, and much more! Country club attire is required. CharityBASH is included with entry to the Golf Tournament and TennisFEST. $50 per person otherwise.

Kids’ Club Charity Classic Camp

Donation includes an entire day of entertaining games and activities, as well as, lunch and/or dinner. Kids’ Club Charity Classic Camp will be available during all of the above-described Charity Classic events. Children must be 5 years of age or older. $30 per child.
