Calm, A Salon will host the first ever Cut-A-Thon! We are hoping to raise money in honor of the Reich Family. They have been a constant support since we opened nine years ago. At that time, Corey was just 16. Getting his gorgeous hair cut just like any other high schooler would. Only, Corey had a sense of style even then that made him stand apart. Over the years Calm, A Salon has had the pleasure of working with many of the Reich family members. As Corey's condition advances the time is now! It is estimated that each minute of research for ALS costs $100.00. Let's make a difference. Calm, A Salon will donate all proceeds raised on November 16, along with Kerastase USA and L'Oreal Professionelle's support for the event. Proceeds will benefit 3 great charitable causes: Lee's Helping Hand of Las Vegas, the Employee Partners Care Foundation (EPCF), and ALS TDI Augie's Quest. These non-profits need your support and we are thrilled to be able to open our Private Country Club to the community during this exciting event. Benefiting charities:
• Lee's Helping Hand - A nonprofit extension of Lee's Discount Liquor that has contributed more than $150,000 to support local Las Vegas charities, including Opportunity Village, New Vista, food drives, senior services and various other Las Vegas community service organizations.
• Employee Partners Care Foundation - The EPCF has granted more than 1,500 requests and awarded more than $1.8 million to Employee Partners in need of financial assistance in times of crisis.
• ALS TDI Augie's Quest - Augie’s Quest has funded several successful ALS research projects that have accelerated the development of therapeutics for ALS
