12 Hour Trail Race12 Hour Trail Race
Location:55 Hubbell Rd

The ALS 12 Hour Trail Race is back again. The race this year will be held on June 3, 2017. We have added a 5 mile trail race in addition to the 12 Hour race. I have been asked this year if there can also be a 2 person relay in addition to the 4 person relay. I don't know how many people would wish to do a 2 person relay, but it will be a choice this year.

The race will be approximately a 2.5 mile loop on the Northampton Park Trails. Northampton Park is located in Spencerport and the Race Start and Finish is across from the Ski Lodge on Hubbell Rd. The exact address for directions to get there is 55 Hubbell Rd., Spencerport, NY 14559. The trails are located on the east side of Hubbell Rd. and there is plenty of parking and restrooms.

The trail has some single track, roots, rocks, holes and a few fallen trees to jump over. There is also a creek to cross and depending on the recent weather, could be dry or very wet. Each loop will have approximately 105 ft. of elevation gain. The trail loop will enter and exit the woods onto a grassy area where the Start/Finish is located. The Start/Finish is the only place that the relay runner's can exchange to their teammates. The Solo runners will also exit the trail on every loop and will pass through the start/finish area so the Race Officials can keep track of loops completed by all the runners. All participating runners can have their own aid station, but it must be located at the Start/Finish area.

New this year will be the 5 mile trail race. This race will be two loops of the course and will start after the 12 hour race starts.

There will be an official Aid Station equipped with food and beverage. Runners are encouraged to have their own aid station and support people.

You can register for the race at or follow the link below.

2017 Charity Classic Events!

Dear Friends and Supporters:

Each year, ClubCorp Inc. encourages its Clubs across the nation to help those in need by hosting an annual Charity Classic Event to raise funds for three worthwhile organizations. Last year, the Charity Classic events raised over $2 million dollars nationally. It goes without saying that we could not accomplish these staggering numbers without the generosity of our Members and Community Partners.

As you may or may not be aware, the third charity is chosen from those nominated by our own Members, selected by our Charity Classic Committee and approved by the Board of Governors. After deliberate consideration, a decision was reached!  Charity Classic 2017 is benefitting ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALSTDI), ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation (EPCF), and National Alliance on Mental Illness Orange County (NAMI), a local charity, whereby the mission is to “Advocate for a life of quality and dignity, one without discrimination, for all persons whose lives are affected by mental illness.” They believe that advocacy starts at home.

The Charity Classic Committee has been working tirelessly on gathering auction items, sponsorships and rallying participation.  We are excited to announce some of our top sponsors that will be participating this year:

Maddox Family | O’Brien + Formichelli Trust | Tito's Vodka

Jaguar Land Rover Mission Viejo | Renaissance ClubSport

Certified Labs | Dynamic Air | Greystar Products | Hillman Consulting | McQuaid Family| Mens Golf Association (MGA) | Ox Car Care | Shaughnessey Insurance | Straub Distributing Company

Audi Mission Viejo | Barbara + JR Notery | Brown Bag Designs | Bumpin Ballroom | EJSM Ventures |  Experience Janitorial | Gilster Family | Jackson Family Wines | Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel | OC Polo Club | Pitman Insurance | Raising Cane's AV | Seal Science | Zumasys

Aliso Viejo Country Club will donate all event operating costs, food, beverages, golf course use, golf carts, event rooms, service and support staff. Together with the Members and Employee Partners of Aliso Viejo Country Club, we ask for your participation in this unforgettable event.
