Deb Bellina's son, Matt, a US Navy Lt. Commander (Ret.), was diagnosed with ALS in April of 2014. Deb is actively involved in funding ALS research at ALS.net, and also at the ALS Champion Fund at UMass Medical, of which she is a board member. She is an AVP at the Hanover Insurance Group, where she has gained more than 25 years of experience managing insurance claims and related business. In addition, Deb and her friends played a key role in the inaugural launch of the Institute's first "Get a Clue Bar Crawl" in Boston in 2015.
