Getting Started
Team TDI is a big part of the research organization we have become and we are grateful you are considering joining us in this fight against ALS.
We'd also like to make sure you have information and access to all the other resources ALS TDI has to offer.
Team TDI Tools
In addition to personal attention and support from an ALS TDI staff member, we have created a number of tools that may be of use to you:
- Team TDI Tool Kit- As you consider moving towards fundraising for ALS TDI for the first time, the Tool Kit can answer many of your questions and potential concerns. It is also an introduction to working with Team TDI with greater detail on the resources ALS TDI has to offer. Please contact
teamtdi als.net or call (617) 441-7200 to request a Tool Kit today.
- Team TDI Website- Join the Team TDI Web community by taking a few quick and easy steps to create your own Website! Many of our families have chosen to share their story, advertise events, and fundraise online by creating a family fund Website. You can quickly and easily build your own Website. Or, feel free to call Team TDI Staff at (617) 441-7200.
- Team TDI Resource Library- The Resource Library contains information that may be helpful to you or your network as you proceed with your fundraising effort on behalf of ALS TDI, including event checklists and timelines, sponsorship information and samples, information on how to build a committee and more. To request tools from our Resource Library, please email us at
teamtdi als.net or call (617) 441-7200.
- Team TDI Community- If you'd like to speak to another member of Team TDI about their experience, please let us know. Fellow fundraisers often benefit from speaking with one another and enjoy the chance to share their insight.
Patient Resources
One of the highlights of Patient Resources at ALS TDI is Mary Beth Parks, RN. With 20 years of nursing experience focused on ALS, Mary Beth provides updated information and support for patients and family members, keeping them abreast of therapeutic opportunities and various patient resources in the larger community that make day-to-day living with ALS easier. In addition, our Website continues to offer up-to-date information on the studies in our laboratory and how that impacts people living with ALS.
Please visit the Patients section of our Website for more information on Mary Beth and the tips she offers, and continue to visit In Our Lab for the latest information on studies in our laboratory.
Driving 4 Life
The Driving 4 Life campaign was established in 2003 by PGA members Tom Watson, Bruce Edwards, and Jeff Julian to raise money for ALS TDI's research and awareness about ALS. Visit Driving 4 Life for more information.
