April Sound Country Club, a member of the national ClubCorp Family, is observing 11 years of giving back to the community through its annual ClubCorp Charity Classic. A full day of activities will be devoted to raising funds for Augie's Quest, to help win the war against ALS; the Employee Partner Care Foundation, to help ClubCorp employees in times of need; and Young Texas Artists, whose annual music competition continues to help produce many distinguished professional musicians.

Festivities for the Charity Classic & Fun Day include a one mile family fun run, Lincoln test drives, a beer and wine garden, and a kid's zone that includes an obstacle course, bounce house, putt putt, face painting & tattoo art!

We will also golf tournament followed by a dinner and awards included for all golf participants and, to top it all off, a party on the patio with live music on Saturday evening.

It is that time of year again when our focus turns to Charity Classic. This year in addition to Augies Quest (ALS) and the Employee Partners Care Foundation we have selected My Warrior’s Place as our Local Charity. 

This year we will be hosting four fun event between September 7th and September 15th include two unique golf outings (a 9-Hole par 3 Contest, and a 9-Hole Night Time Glow Golf event), an exciting evening tennis frenzy, and a wrapping it all up with a Dueling Pianos Dinner!

Our goal is to make Charity Classic this year as fun as possible, as we strive to make over $30,000 to donate at least $10,000 to each of these worthy Charities

Join us this year for our Member Favorite events, Football Tailgate Parties! The Carolina Club is THE place to be before every home UNC Football Game with the best tailgating food and the most entertaining atmosphere around with appearances by the UNC Cheerleaders and Dancers, UNC Pep Band and Rameses & Rameses Jr.. Tailgate Parties start 3 hours before kick-off

Golf Event beginning with a 12:00 noon shotgun start.  BBQ lunch at 11:00 and a heavy hor d'oeuvres reception to follow golf.
