Purpose

The purpose of this study will be to demonstrate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of arimoclomol in subjects with SOD1 positive familial ALS (fALS).

What participation looks like

Two arm study: placebo comparator- placebo capsules given three times per day, Arimoclomol capsules given three times per day; Active comparator- placebo capsules given three times per day, Arimoclomol capsules given three times per day.

Eligibility criteria

18 years or older. all Genders. No healthy volunteers. SOD1 Positive Familial ALS only.
