AT-1501 is Now in Humans

ALS TDI is proud to announce that the first participant was successfully given a dose of AT-1501 in the first in-human trial of that experimental treatment for ALS sponsored by Anelixis Therapeutics, LLC. You can read more here.

We are the first non-profit organization to develop a potential ALS treatment in the lab, complete manufacturing and IND enabling safety studies, and advance the candidate molecule into clinical trials. We want to thank every single person who helped us get to this point. Our amazing community is the reason we are able to applaud this milestone.

Our job is not done. We MUST keep pushing more drugs through the pipeline here at ALS TDI and continue to discover more potential therapies for ALS. We will not stop until we #EndALS.

OMG #GivingTuesday!

Last Tuesday was #GivingTuesday, and because of your support, we were able to raise over $137,000 for ALS research at ALS TDI. This money will be used to push even more potential treatments through our drug pipeline. We want to thank you all for your generous support and thank all of the families who volunteered to share their stories with our community. You can read all of the stories we shared on #GivingTuesday here.

I Have ALS. But I'm Still Kate.

"The team at ALS TDI not only gave me a sense of hope, they pulled me back into the present. They woke me up in time to marry my prince charming and travel for three weeks on an amazing honeymoon. They continue to provide hope and support every day, when they show up to fight the battle that I was unwillingly tossed into. Now my superhero powers are laser-focused on helping raise money for their groundbreaking research." - Kate. Read more.

#ALSPepperChallenge

Almost one year ago, on December 26th, the #ALSPepperChallenge began with the Haberstroh Family in Westport, CT after their mom, Patty, was diagnosed with ALS. Since then, the #ALSPepperChallenge has raised significant awareness and over $630,000 for ALS research at ALS TDI. You can still take the challenge and donate at als.net/pepper!
