Thank you to all those who participated in the 8th Annual White Coat Affair! Because of you, this year's event was our first SOLD OUT gala in history and was attended by close to 500 guests! Your efforts helped to raise over $450,000 for ALS research. Guests arrived at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, and after cocktail hour, gathered for a seated dinner in the Grand Ballroom. Speakers included Patty Haberstroh (mother living with ALS who started the ALS Pepper Challenge raising $630K), Steve Perrin (ALS Therapy Development Institute, President and CEO), Kate (a young woman recently diagnosed with ALS) and Sean & Brenna Dwyer (Stars of Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch). After a powerful program, guests enjoyed the entertainment of the Beantown Swing Orchestra before doors opened for the Good Vibes After Party. We hope to all you all again next year!

I have never been a part of such a moving evening. I don't know that so many people with ALS have ever gathered together in one room! It was so exciting to meet so many members of the ALS community, and actually get to spend a fun evening together. I can't wait for next year's event!

The White Coat Affair has raised over $2,500,000 to accelerate the development of therapies at the ALS Therapy Development Institute. Thousands have joined us since 2011 to honor the people facing ALS; celebrating progress, and joining in the fight to change the prognosis of this disease.
