December 1, 2020, is #GivingTuesday! Will you help #EndALS by fundraising or making a direct donation to ALS TDI? Your support fuels our research!
The White Coat Affair has raised over $2,500,000 to accelerate the development of therapies at the ALS TDI. Guests return year after year for the elegant atmosphere, moving stories, and to learn and celebrate the advances made in ALS research.
2020 Virtual White Coat Affair
Friday, October 16, 2020 from 7 - 9 PM
In an effort to keep our community safe, we have decided to take the 2020 White Coat Affair virtual! ALS TDI and the White Coat Affair Committee are delighted to announce that, through the generosity of our sponsors, we are now able to welcome the entire ALS community to join us at no cost for the 2020 Virtual White Coat Affair Gala.
Though the event format will be a little different, the goals remain the same – to unite our incredible ALS community, celebrate progress, and raise funds for ALS research. Best of all, our virtual White Coat Affair will allow for even more community members to join us as we honor our friends and family members with ALS and raise vital funds to move research forward at ALS TDI.
We have had many wonderful items donated to our auction to help raise additional funds for ALS research. Please click the link below to view and bid on these incredible items!
Can't make the event? You can still make an impact on ALS research by donating.
About the 2020 Virtual White Coat Affair
For the 2020 White Coat Affair attendees will come together over zoom to join the virtual event hosted by ALS TDI. As in previous years, the event will include updates from ALS TDI leadership, inspiring speeches from members of the ALS community, and an opportunity to connect with each other.
Attendees can sip their favorite beverage over our virtual cocktail hour and enjoy a meal at home as they ‘sit’ for the virtual dinner program. There is no dress code this year for the virtual White Coat Affair! You can wear whatever makes you comfortable, whether that means staying casual in sweats or getting dressed up in formal attire. And as always, the event will end with an opportunity to honor those living with ALS and remember those who are no longer with us.
We hope that you can join us.
“I have never been a part of such a moving evening. I don't know that so many people with ALS have ever gathered together in one room! It was so exciting to meet so many members of the ALS community, and actually get to spend a fun evening together. I can't wait for next year's event!”
