On this episode of the Endpoints Podcast, Gabrielle Bellitti, our Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist, spoke with Andrea Sheehey about her involvement with the Ales for ALS program and her personal connection to ALS. Andrea works at the Mighty Squirrel Brewing Company which is participating in the Ales for ALS program for the first time this year, and she was a key player in getting them involved. Her family has been deeply affected by ALS with nine family members passing due to it, including her father and grandmother. 

Andrea wanted to contribute to the ALS community and loved that she was able to do it through her work at the brewery. She still feels a connection to her father through her work in the beer industry, and this year’s specially brewed beer from Mighty Squirrel is called Ales for DAD in honor of both her father and grandmother.
