Can a Cookie Change the World?

Tessa is a 14-year-old girl, who has organized local fundraisers in Alaska for various causes over the past several years. Because her grandmother Sandy was living with ALS, Tessa's first fundraiser was a cookie bake sale to support research. Can a Cookie Change the World? by Rhonda Bolling shares Tessa's story of how she took a small idea and made great things happen! The book is available on Amazon and 35% of proceeds go to ALS TDI!

Sadly, Sandy passed from ALS just a few weeks ago. She is pictured above with Tessa. Tessa is also pictured above with a copy of the brand new book, through which her grandmother's legacy continues.

Research Update Webinar from Steve Perrin

During last month's webinar, Steve Perrin, PhD, spoke about several topics, including early results from the Precision Medicine Program, and an update on the clinical development plans for AT-1501. He provided a large amount of data from preclinical studies on several different potential treatments for ALS around an aspect of biology called the Unfolded Protein Response (UPR). In doing so, he explained how ALS TDI is looking at all aspects of ALS biology, from immunomodulation to UPR and beyond. You can hear his entire presentation, as well as his response to listeners' questions by clicking here.
