To the ALS Community,

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to reflect on how thankful and proud I am for all that we at the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) have been able to accomplish with your help.

I want to express my deep gratitude to everyone who has donated, fundraised, or spread awareness for ALS TDI this year. Reading the messages that have been sent to us throughout the year from community members, many of whom are living with ALS, has been both humbling and inspiring:
“I have been supporting TDI for years - I am so grateful for the work that you are doing. I wish that my husband, Paul, could have been around for a cure. He believed in your work too and we are grateful for all of your effort. I am donating what I am able to at this time in hopes that it will help you continue your research and prevent other families from going through what our family has had to endure. Thank you for all that you do.”

“I lost a dear friend two years ago from ALS. My brother was diagnosed last year. I was fortunate to have a tour of the lab during the Chili Fest and saw what wonderful work is being done by an amazing group of dedicated professionals. This work MUST continue.”

“I'm donating because this is an unacceptable disease, and if someone is going to solve this, it's going to be you.”
I share these comments to emphasize why our research needs to continue, and for whom we are doing this difficult work.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to ending ALS.
Thank you and Happy New Year!
